Make more of your solar
Panels make most of their power during the day, often while you're out. A battery stores the surplus so you can use your own solar in the evening and overnight.
Installing a battery can give you greater energy independence and store excess energy from your solar panels, so you can use it when the sun goes down.
We know our batteries and when pairing with solar it’s important to know which products perform well in the real world, in British weather, over years of use, and which one is best for you.
Book your showroom visitTesla, GoodWe and EcoFlow are our preferred battery and inverter brands. We know the technology, we trust how it performs, and members of our own team have chosen these systems for their homes too. But our preference doesn’t have to be yours. If you’re considering another manufacturer or already have a particular system in mind, speak to us. We’ll happily explore the options with you and help you make the right choice.

Powerwall is a premium home battery system that stores solar energy efficiently, helping homeowners reduce energy costs.
EcoFlow makes smart, high-capacity home batteries designed for UK households.
Panels make most of their power during the day, often while you're out. A battery stores the surplus so you can use your own solar in the evening and overnight.
The more of your own stored energy you use, the less you need to buy from the grid, giving you more control over where your energy comes from.
On a time-of-use tariff, your battery can charge when electricity is cheaper and power your home when prices are higher, even on days without much sun.
Charging an EV, running a heat pump or simply using more power at home? A battery helps your home energy system work around your lifestyle, not the grid.
For many homes, yes. A battery stores the solar you don't use during the day so you can use it in the evening, and on a time-of-use tariff it can charge when electricity is cheapest. Whether it's worth it for you depends on how you live, and we'll show you the numbers either way.
We fit GoodWe, Tesla Powerwall and EcoFlow batteries. GoodWe comes in stackable 5 kWh and 8 kWh modules, Powerwall 3 holds 13.5 kWh in one unit, and EcoFlow is modular too. We size the battery to how much you use in the evening and overnight.
Powerwall 3 is a 13.5 kWh home battery with a built-in inverter, up to 11.04 kW output and three solar inputs. It stores your spare solar for later and is controlled through the Tesla app. As a Tesla Powerwall Certified Installer, we can give our customers better access to Tesla support.
Every solar system needs an inverter. Depending on your home, that might be a GoodWe hybrid inverter that runs your panels and battery together, or a battery with the inverter built in, such as Tesla Powerwall 3 or EcoFlow. We'll recommend what suits your roof, your battery plans and your budget.
Your system comes with an app (GoodWe, Tesla or EcoFlow) that shows what your panels are generating, what your home is using, how full the battery is and what you're exporting. We set it up with you at handover so you know what you're looking at.
Plenty of our customers start with panels and add a battery or EV charger later, and we can add a battery to panels another company fitted. We'll check what your existing equipment and your network operator allow, then design the upgrade to work with what you already have.
